North/South Carolina CP Trip?

I am planning on spending several days photographing CP in and around
Wilmington, NC, USA in early May, and am looking for anyone who might be
interested in joining me (either there or on the road down). I will drive
from the Washington DC area, spend (probably) two days in the field, and two
nights in some cheap motel in the area. Am looking particularly for Atlantic
Coast S. flava, S. purpurea venosa, S. rubra, VFT. Those not interested in
travelling ... know of any specific locales you'd care to divulge? (I know of
some in the Croatan National Forest near New Bern, NC, but that's the extent
of my experience down there.)

Would appreciate any information/offers, and will be happy to share
photographs, discoveries, etc. with the list.

(BTW, did find S. alata x S. purpurea venosa cross in Slack's book, S. x
exornata, I believe?) apologize for the previous posting <sheepish grin>
