Guess you're not familiar with the Northern California banana slug, which
can grow larger than your entire plant, let alone a pitcher (...small
exaggeration, perhaps). They are celebrated in several local festivals,
including races, cooking contests, etc. Now where did I stash that copy of
an earlier prize winning recipe--"Slugs in a Cloud?" Did I mention that
local politicians are usually tagged as judges? Anyway, we'll freeze you up
a bunch and await your arrival.
