FWIW I have a few young Cephalotus that came out of tissue culture that have
been growing for about 18 months. They are in either 50/50 sand peat or live
sphagnum standing in very shallow water (<1/4 inch). No losses to rot but they
are growing very slowly. Soil differences didnt' seem to matter, but humidity
helps.
