John, Tell your slug feeder to watch out for the slime. Here in Hawaii
slugs carry eosinophilic encephalitis which you can get from the slime.
Forceps or rubber gloves would be necessary here. John

My father sent me the above note after I forwarded him "Slug-cicles for
CP's" note. I can't vouch for the seriousness of this health hazard, or
where else it may occur outside Hawaii. Just thought it would be of
interest. I know I'm going to stop drinking them in my beer! ;-)
