FWIW, I bought a counter-top distiller from Sears, Roebuck & Co. last
Christmas. It is a Kenmore and seems to have the same description as the
one described by Demetrio, EXCEPT the one I bought cost only US $120.00

I have made about 200 gallons of distilled water so far and am about
ready to de-scale it for the 2nd time. I haven't had to change carbon
filters yet. It is easy to use, very dependable, etc.

De-scaling is simple using the descaling chemical also purchased from
Sears. Cost is about $5 for enough to de-scale 10 times.
