You shouldn't have to use the "/password" in your request. That
field is used to request specific parts:
get cp jans.db 1 2 3 ; means only send parts 1, 2 & 3
get cp jans.db ; means send it all

The WEB database is generally updated every quarter, but the listserv
version lags behind. Images, text and photos are updated as they are
contributed.

This 1994 version was probably the last time that Jan's DB existed in
RTF word processor format. It now is being maintained in ASCII form,
and the listserv version is no longer current.
You might want to read the blurb in the archive on accessing the WEB
page through email.
I'm at home right now, but Monday I'll transfer the latest version
of the database over to the listserver.
