This is a perfect question for the parasitic plant discussion list just
recently opened for us heterotrophics by Rick:

To return to your question, fide Willem Meijer (the _Rafflesia_ guru), as
far as I recall him correctly the authorities in charge of the Kinabalu
park know several locations of _Rafflesia_, and chances to see at least
flower buds or remnants are more or less good in any season.
