I just wanted to clarify my last post regarding people updating web

To whatever extent is possible, and that there is interest from Jan, I
would want any auto-updating database to not replace or deter from his
current database. Unfortunately I have not had a lot of time to spend
with that database, but all I hear are tremendous compliments about how
wonderful it is!
I would be glad to link our page to the current database, mirror the
current database, or incorporate the current database into an interface
that would allow CPers from around the world to provide their personal
input under each genera/species.
If Jan has an interest in editing or filtering such contributions, I
would be glad to extend this work to him.
What I am proposing is that we use our hardware and resources here to
allow others to provide more general information or additional photos,
videos, etc. without it having to involve a lot of time or work from
those updating the database. This would be to complement, not detract
from, Jan's existing work.
Any further thoughts on this, please let me know. : )
