Dear Fellow Carnivorous Plant Enthusiasts:
My name is Margi Oard. I am a new subscriber. I am also a graduate
student and my research is a study of the evolution of pitcher plants and
pitcher plant moths. To do my study I am sequencing DNA using several
different genes. I have material of Sarracenia and Darlingtonia but still
need material of Heliamphora (Sun Pitcher) species. I hope some of you can
help me out. I only need small amounts of leaf material, 2-3 small leaves
from an individual plant will do. I can provide containers and all the
materials to collect and label plant samples. I would pay all the shipping
costs as well. Please let me know if anyone would have plant material they
could spare. I can be reached by e-mail at: sarrana@unix1.sncc.lsu.edu.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Margi Oard
