There are a few scans of old CPN images on the WEB already. I started
to scan them all in, and only got through the first two or three issues.
I simply haven't had the time to the work myself.
If you have already made good-quality scans of the CPN back issues,
I would be thrilled to receive them from you. For each image, I'd
like to have the Date, the Volume number/page, the credit, and the
original caption text.

If we can put these on a CDROM, then you will eventually be able
to clean up your hard drive :-).
Please let me know how we can arrange to put your scans on the web.
The work that you've done is tremendous, and I think you should also be
credited on each image as having done the scanning work.

As the CP WEB page is really just a volunteer project, I can't
really accept responsibility to contact you for specific slides, etc.
What works best is for each contributor to take a look at the DB, and
see what they have that would fill in a missing bit of info. If you
take the initiative to scan your slides/create a quick-time movie, etc.,
I will promise to install your work in the DB.
Your Nepenthes mister bench pictures would make an excellent slide show
for the WEB page. You could do an entire sequence of how to build and
operate the bench along with propagation tips. Take a look at the
Tissue Culture tutorial for an example.
Thanks for your offer to contribute. Think about what you'd like to
work on, and let me know how I can help you out!
Best regards,
-- Rick Walker
