Russell,
I also have this "problem" on a year round basis. I grow my plants indoors
in aquariums exclusivly due to the hot and dry Arizona climate. Several
days after feeding an insect it will become covered with white mold and look
like the end of a Q-tip sitting on the leaf. I have plenty of light but
relatively low air circulation. All I can add is that so far I have not
seen any ill effects twords the plants. The fungus has yet to ever move
from the insect to the leaf. I have used Benomyl in the past and it does
seem to minimize the fungus, however, it also dries out the leaves of any
drosera it comes into contact with :(
