Well yes, I have seen US pings in the wild growing immersed and/or close
enough that a hard rain would put them under. However, what works in
the wild doesn't always work for me at home - much to my frustration. I
may have to try it with one of the badly infested P. planifolia anyway.
The ping and I will both hold our breath and see what happens!
