Tom,
You can use the soap on Pinguicula! Just wash it off after
about a minute as it *will* damage and kill your plant but it
will not do this in a minute. It will however KILL all the aphids
you hit. This doesn't work on adult scale keep in mind, infact
I doubt it kill adult scale at all, only the babies.
