Superthrive again...

I have a couple of questions as a result of the discussion on the wondrous
powers of Superthrive.

Apparently we do not have Superthrive here in New Zealand, so I'm wondering
about either getting some Superthrive from elsewhere, or coming up with a
substitute (which could be difficult if it contains all sorts of mysterious
hormones etc.)

How much does an X ml bottle of Superthrive cost in the US, and is it readily
available? (If I knew someone heading to the US to a conference, would it be
reasonable to ask them to nip to the nearest garden center?)

Does anyone know exactly why Superthrive is so much better than standard
fertilizers? Is it possible to do some chemical analysis to get a rough idea
of its composition? In the aquatic plants mailing list there has been some
discussion about mixing up fertilisers that are customised to each particular
tank, using a hydroponics trace element fertiliser as a basis and then adding
other chemicals so that the nutrients in the tank are all balanced. Could a
similar approach be taken with CP's?

Cheers,
Len.
