Gary,

Spiders will set up shop where ever they think the bugs
will be. When I was down in Florida, we saw green spiders
living in the throats of S.leucophylla. They were fairly
large with long, sort of boxed looking bodies. There was
a white mark either on the back of the head or upper part
of the abdomen.
