I have an S. minor that I bought for cheap. It looks healthy but
the two biggest pitchers (about 10 and 12 inches respectively)
have fallen over and bent very close to the base of the plant.
The damage was done some time ago before I bought the plant. The
pitchers aren't dying so apparently they're still getting food
and water, but they're not feeding the roots with insect fodder
but only whatever energy it generates from photosynthesis.

Is there any point in leaving the pitchers on the plant? Would I
spur new growth if I cut the folded pitchers off?

Thanks
Phil
