Recently germinated Sarracenia seedlings have a stem about 5mm tall,
with two cotyledons (seed-leaves) each about 5mm long and 1mm wide.
Often the seed remains stuck to the end of one of these leaves. Very
soon, they start to develop a real pitcher leaf from between the
seed-leaves.
