To Dave Evans; To "us Nep junkies" Davin George

The upper pitchers of N. ampullaria are tiny. They are cone-shaped,
about
1.3 cm (half-an-inch) in diameter and about 1.5 cm deep. The pitcher is
tilted at such an angle that any liquid contents would probably flow
out. Also, the pitchers are usually empty which would suggest that the
reponse to "Have you eaten yet?" would be "No". Incidentally, do you
know of anyone who has managed to get such pitchers from cultivated
plants in their collections?
