I've planted all my Sars in a plastic planter (mini bog) and placed in on my
backyard porch. In the past I grew them indoors under lights. At first I
had noticed many ants all over the plants. Then I sat down with a cool
drink and observed what was going on. The ants are attracted to the
opening of the pitchers and the lids and start making their way down. Its
quite entertaining to sit and watch this as its repeated in unbelievable
numbers. They find it difficult to move up and make their way down
deeper until they loose their footing and fall in. My plants should be well
fed by the end of the summer.
Happy growing,
