A true life story of hope and encouragement:

My fave VFTs didn't leap into life this spring. Infact there was
nothing. I decided to dig out the corpse, and there it was the bulb
all mushy and black on the top third, and no sign of any green life
at all. So I tearfully chopped off the black mush and pulled the rest
of it to bits. I pushed each bit into their old pot curved side down
and replaced the pot back where it was. In a week, some bits went
black and mushy, but most of the have turned red and wee buds have
appeared - so it looks as if I am going to get quite a few VFT
puppies :-)
