Dear all,

Thanks for all your help over the past few months, you have all
really helped me get things off to a good start.

I just have one problem. About two months ago, I bought a
decorativeplanting of CP to increase the size of my collection. In this,
there was a butterwort. It has flowered profusely, and I self and cross
pollinated it (because I had two) to produce seed. However, I have
absolutely no idea what it is. The flowers are similar shape to P.esseriana,
but they are pink rather than purple. The leaves have *no* curling at all on
the edges, and are fairly flat. After one of them had finished flowering, it
started producing smaller leaves, and looks as if it is trying to go
dormant. i now have about five of them (they seem very prolific) and would
really like to know what they are. I would assume that they are
mexican/tropical pings, because they were selling with P.primuliflora,
although in different containers.

BTW, for anyone collecting daphnia and cyclopes from the wild, be
careful, I've heard that cyclopses can carry all sorts of nasty parasitic
worms and stuff, esp. in the tropics...

Cheers,

Bearo
