I've finally got my e-mail worked out after several weeks of
innumerable problems which I don't even want to remember!! I should be
accessing this account at my university here in Japan on a more or less
frequent basis and am glad to finally be able to participate in the
discussions again.
I've been busier than ever with the intensive japanese-language
course, but have already had time to begin working with my Drosera and
should begin sequencing rbcL for 3 plants this week.
Unfortunately I haven't had time to contact the local CPers yet
and even missed their meeting in April. Sorry Isao-san!! I might get the
chance to see native Japanese CPs this summer, including the famous
P.ramosa.
Before I forget, I'm trying to find Allen Lowrie's phone number,
can anyone send this to me? I'm sure it must be written in his catalogues,
which many of you must have. Thanks!! I'm also on the lookout for Joe
Mullins, if you're out there, wherever you are, drop me a line at this
address. I'll be getting in contact with each friend individually as I
find the time, OK? Sorry for the rush!!!
Best Wishes to all,
Fernando Rivadavia
