1) Check out the excellent CP FAQ at:

2) Get thee to your local library, it should have a CP book or two. Books
will help you to identify your plants, learn about how they grow, and learn
what grows in your area.
3) Keep reading this list. There's more information here than you can
shake a dead butterwort at.
4) Call the Nature Conservancy (http://www.tnc.org I think) and tell
them you're interested in CPs. They might point you to some CP sites in
your area.
