Any real "protector" of these natural wonders would have no problem
understanding the ordeal you are going through to give up these plants. To
watch them grow and mature, to do all you can to help them develop to the
very best they are able, realizing that you are doing your part to protect
& preserve something that very uniquely exemplifies the incredible
diversity & ingenuity of creation, and then to have to give up your
"charges" to those whom you "hope" will give them the same care & time ...
truly, it isn't much different than parent-hood!
The person who sent you that flame mail obviously has no inkling of what
you are going through or, for that matter, cares. Be very glad that you
decided not to send your plants into his/her "garden of hate." I am very
sorry you had to receive that blast from someone in this group ... comments
like that do us all damage.
(It is easy, sometimes, to wish that VFT's came in much, much larger
species that would permit the accidental "bumping" of this flamer into the
gaping jaws of a hungry Dionaea trap ... !!!)
