Ok, ok, ok. I don't know if these are tongue in cheek, but they have
manage to rouse me.

These are of course opinions. Belief in a divine creator is a perfectly
self-consistent way to describe the origins of the universe and all its
inhabitants. Belief in purely stochastic or random evolutionary events
to describe the universe is equally self-consistent. IN ADDITION, it is
perfectly reasonable to make combinations of these two approaches. They
are not conflicting, not even complementery, but rather separate.

The argument that the 2nd Law the Thermodynamics disproves evolution is
erroneous. The argument goes that the creation of DNA and life is in the
direction of increased order, and decreased entropy. While this is true
for the life-form itself, the system as a whole (the universe) still
experiences an increase of entropy as a result in terms of wasted heat
etc. Much as I'd like to prevent it, Barry will have a net muddying effect
on the planet.

Entertaining discussion that would be fun to continue, perhaps on a
private email format since it is not very CPish.
