I live in SF Bay Area. I had VFTs as a pre-teen (how unique). Again about
15 years later and again 10 years after that. A co-worker showed me a
magazine article on CPs which peaked my interest on all the plants I never
new existed. I knew of a nursery that sold Cobra Lilies so I bought one and
potted it per the article. It did well on my tap water drip system (except
when it failed twice). I later ran across a couple of sundews at another
nursery and bought them. When I went back to ask about their care the clerk
gave me a photocopy of an old California Carnivores Growing Guide. It had an
address. I went there. I found CP heaven.

Now about 5 years later I also have representatives of all Sarr species, half
dozen or so sundews, about as many pings, about as many neps, about as many
utrics, a couple of cephalotuses (cephaloti?) and some h.nutans - more about
those on a following note.
