Boiling water concentrates the minerals and crap contained within it, stuff
that won't evaporate. Your very method of watering may be the problem. Try
_not_ boiling it, or if you do, filter it afterwards. You could rig up a
small still (be careful here, Demetrios, no Canadian 'shine cracks. Or
moose mentions! You too Florida Joe.), which can easily be done with
household stuff (go to your library first), and distill your own water.

Buy bottled water from a shop. Check the label first for composition.

First off the mark: Ask those other people with the great Sarrs what they
are doing to get them that way. Describe yours as pathetic, praise theirs:
they'll be sure to offer help. ;-)
