Hi All,
I bought my plant a few months ago from a garden centre of all places,
still it looked OK and it was only 4 quid. The plant has now got 3 or 4
flowering spikes on it so if anyone is looking for any D. adelae seed... It has
leaves 4 or 5 inches in length maybe more. It is in my highland Nep terrarium,
right at the back so it gets pretty much no sun. It is sprayed (I know Droseras
aren't supposed to like it but when I didn't spray it it had no dewy bits
(sorry), I started spraying and it has massive 'dewy bits' hanging off each
tentacle) with tepid rainwater each day. As for transplanting, I have taken a
tiny bit off and shoved it in a dead Sarracenia pot that I put in my terrarium
and it is going really well. I have tried leaf cuttings but nothing yet after a
month or so.
So if *anyone* wants D. adelae seed (I can't be sure whether it will set
properly) or a small D. adelae plant (that'll be flowering size by next
spring) just drop me a line.
N.B. I advise just putting it with a minimum temperature of 50, 45 maybe, with
good light, no sun and spray iot each day with a very fine mist.
Kind Regards,
Toby
