Once again the air conditioning broke down in our
apartment (we're moving!) and the temperature soared into
the mid teens (one hundred and teens!). However, almost
all of my CP's survived. All the seedlings came through
all right except for my Byblis linflora which suffered
a severe bake. Everything else survived. The Drosera
only lost their mucilage for about a day, but gained it
back already. This just goes to show that these plants
are a hell of a lot hardier than we think.
As for my Nepenthes, they did fine as well. However,
Rand's reporting me for abuse to the SPCA (Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Alata's) for trying to cook the
cuttings he sent me (maybe that was what that bean like smell
was) ;-)! All's well that ends well, I guess!
