Hello All,
This message is in reference to Judy Showers question about rooting N.
alata.
I've had some success with them. First I took the cuttings in February
coating the open cuts with Benomyl fungicide. Then placing them in
small 2" plastic pots using Osmunda as the media. They sit in a pebble
filled tray within a mini- terrarium under 4 20W grow lights. Usually 6
cuttings are taken and I have 4 that actually take. This time of the
year, the cuttings are producing many traps of their own. Good luck
Judy. Dave Heule
