About 10 years ago I canoed, with Joe Cantasano, Matt Hochberg, Jim Bockowski
and others down Oswego River in the Pine Barrens. You will find lots of D.
intermedia and if you are lucky find the spot where we found S. pourpurea
with 30-40cm pitchers. No Joke, I have pictures to prove this size. Oswego
lake itself is loaded with U. purpurea and others. This might be in flower
in mid August.
Have fun, and bring lots of bug spray.
