Do you mean chat on the Internet - typing rather than speech? That
sounds like IRC - Internet Relay Chat, which is freely available.
There were plans a while ago to create and talk on channel #flytrap
but I don't know if much ever came of it. I think the trouble was
that the few people interested probably didn't log on at the same
time. The only time I used IRC was to follow England's cricket
matches in South Africa last Winter.
