I'm curious what happened to the VFTs, too. I called the local Nature
Conservancy office and the local USFWS (US Fish & WIldlife Service) office;
neither had heard of any plan to put the VFTs back where they came from. My
friend at USFWS said he'd keep his ears open for me but hasn't heard
anything about it.
