Hello,

You can find information about Blackwater River Forest at the following
web page. (It is in Florida.)

http://www.wildflorida.com/places/blckwatr.html

In general a good way to find almost anything (place, person, plant,
etc.) is to use the Alta Vista or Hot Bot internet search engines.
That's how I found the above page.

Alta Vista is at http://altavista.digital.com

and

HotBot is at http://www.hotbot.com

Best wishes,

Jeff

P.S. You probably were confusing S. leucophylla with Darlingtonia which
is the only pitcher plant native to Oregon.

Can any of our American friends help me with a location? I was recently
given three _S. leucophylla_ seedlings which were grown from wild
collected
seed and marked _S. leucophylla_ 'Blackwater River Forest'.

The original collector moved away some 4 years ago and sold all of their
CPs
to a friend, who in turn has given me the seedlings.

I have tried a few atlases but cannot find any reference to Blackwater
River
Forest. I assume it is in Oregon, probably not too far from Portland.
