I am no great authority on VFT's (or anything else for that matter)
but I was under the impression that the time it takes for a VFT trap
to close was dependant on the time between the two stimuli on the
trigger hairs. ie touch both hairs with no time delay and whooshhhhh!
Ive never tried to prove it though.
