Of course, one can cultivate Sarracenia in Oregon, but does it naturally
occur there? No. The only pitcher plant native to the west coast is
Darlingtonia. As a resident of San Francisco, I've lamented the WC's
shortage of native CPs. Thanks to California Carnivores for at least
opening their nursery to those of us who would otherwise have no way of
observing CPs, albeit in a controlled environment.
