In a digest from a week or two ago someone asked for cephalotus sites
in WA, and was told Stirling Ranges. I was there last November and
only saw cultivated ones. i was very disappointed to only see one
wild cp in 2 weeks in the Perth/WA area. I'd contrast that
experience with my recent trip to Cairns which was brilliant. The
difference is getting friendly with the locals. For cephalotus I'd
suggest getting in touch with the Australian cp society and finding
out if there's a WA branch, (anyone on the list know?). Then get in
touch with the locals - it makes all the difference.
