The recent rains in Dallas are doing wonders for my Darlingtonas. I started
with one plant, but whenever we get a new series of showers, a new D. shoots
up around the edge of my pot. I now have five plants.
There does seem to be a problem with the parent plant however. It is no
longer producing large pitchers like it used to. It is now only producing
small pitchers about an inch to inch and a half. Could it be that the four
additional plants that came from the main plant are putting a drain on the
parent? Should I disconnect the child plants from the parent?
