My plant grow on a bench under high pressure sodium lights in a
basement setting. When they first came in they had a nice attractive red
colored leaves (indicating they were grown in high light). Consequently I
gave them a very bright position under the light. The red is gone
(indicating they can take more light than I am giving them?).
They seem to go through cycles of, for lack of a better term, failure to
thrive. They dry up their mucilage and look pretty pitiful. At present they
are putting out strong new leaves--we'll see.
Any comments Tom H.?
