Ping primuliflora

I recently got P prim & planted in 2 sets of conditions - some in 50/50
peat/coarse vermiculite and some in straight coarse vermiculite. The
ones in only vermiculite grew much more compactly and a bit darker green
- the others were a bit more "scraggly" - not unhealthy, but longer
leaves and more delicate - as if they were marginally light-starved. I
now have them in different lighting conditions, so it's hard to tell
what's going on now, but this was interesting. BTW, both are in totally
enclosed terrarium-like conditions w/ soil very moist.

I tried to give the "scraggly" ones more light but ended up nearly frying
them in a west-facing window (oops!) -- their condition now is okay, but
I'm not sure that the current leaves aren't still suffering a little
around the edges (green around the gills?) from the heat episode.

Also, the vermiculite/peat ones are extremely proliferous w/ vegetative
budding!
