Hi everyone,
It was with great interest that I have been reading about people
having some trouble with V.F.T's.I can certainly relate to your
problems.When we first got our fly traps many years ago, nobody could tell
you how to grow them.The end result was many small funerals held at my place
till we found out by trial and error how to grow them.I also have the added
problem of being in a tropical climate so there is a need to give the plants
an artificial dormancy period.The crisper in the fridge got a bit of a
workout I can tell you!I also grow some sarracenias,so they get the same
treatment.Any Aussie Nepenthes collectors out there?I've been contacted by a
few people who would like to swap plants,but I can't because of the
quarantine regulations.
