Highland varieties do well here. I've had a N. Khasiana growing outdoors for
3 years now and it's doing very well. I usually remember to bring it indoors
when frost is expected but I've forgotten occasionally without ill effects.
It's reported to survive temps as low as 15F. I have a couple of other
highland varieties outdoors. They are young plants but doing ok so far.
Indoors I have a N. Maxima growing near an east facing window and it's doing
very well.
