Hi Andy,

I've run into the same problem this year. The 55 gallon is
a little too short to fit an average sized Nepenthes. Keeping
them small does work, but I've found the pitchers to become very
ornate as they get larger. Details you don't see in small ones
really come out, so while I do cut them back, I like to wait
as long as possible. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to
build an extention that would sit above the tank so as to give
the plants more room while still holding in the mist and supporting
the lights. Wish me luck, please.
