Dear Edward,

_Triphyophyllum peltatum_ is very rare in cultivation, and it is
indeed a very demanding plant not likely to survive on a window
sill. The "supply" of the plant is limited, to say the least, and
only very few people not native to tr W AF have seen it in the wild.
However, some scientific institutes have managed to establish
contacts to Prof. Ake-Assi in Cote d'Ivoire who cultivates the
species successfully in the Centre National de Floristique, Abidjan.
Two of these institutes are located in Germany, viz. the Botanical
Gardens in Bonn (Prof. Barthlott's group) and our own one (Dept. of
Organic Chemistry, University Wuerzburg). We have currently a few
plants of _Triphyophyllum_ but they are all needed for scientific
research purposes, and we are not able to share any of them at the
moment.

Kind regards
Jan
