During the last 6 months I have visited some sites on
Noth Italian mountains where I have found P. vulgaris, P. alpina,
D. rotundifolia, D. intermedia and U. vulgaris.
I have visited all the sites in spring and summer, tacking photo, measuri=
ng =
the water and soil pH (and testing some real good typical restaurants..:-=
) ).
What I have noted after the examination of at least one hundred of Pingu=
icolae,
mainly P. vulgaris with some P. alpina, is that NOT A SINGLE INSECT was=
glued on
the leafs. Leafs were in good conditions, and insects were all around, bu=
t
I have not found a single captured prey. =
On the contrary, D. rotundifolia and D intermedia were full of insects.
PS: any suggestion about D. nidiformis cultivation?
