Hello,
I have been following the newsgroup for some weeks now, and it is
time I submitted the customary self-introduction. It seems that like so
many others, my interest started in my youth with VFTs, and I am guilty of
killing a few.

I have a degree in biochemistry and did some research in microbial
genetics, but now manage a student residence at the university in Bangor,
North Wales.

Locally growing species are: _D. rotundifolia_ and _P.vulgaris_.

Currently I have the following species: Cephalotus folicularis; Dionaea
muscipulata; Drosera: binata, capensis, intermedia, rotundifolia,
spatulata; Nepenthes alata; Pinguicula: moranensis & ssp caudata,
vulgaris; Sarracenia flava, oreophilla, purpurea, x areolata;
Utricularia livida; plus a number of others as seed which I am attempting
to germinate.

My thanks to all the contributors to the list for what is an informative,
lively, but best of all friendy forum.
