My interest in this article is that there is a line in it which
mentions sighting of
the natural hybrid of N. rafflesiana x N. gracilis. I wonder if it is
the 'first published report' of sighting this natural hybrid.
N. rafflesiana and N. gracilis are both commonly found growing close
together
but the natural hybrid is not common, eg., it is not mentioned in
"Pitcher plants of Borneo" by Phillipps and Lamb (1996) and "Nepenthes
of Mount Kinabalu" by Kurata (1976).
