Hi,
I figured I'd add my two cents worth. I have finally after years of trying
gotten an adult plant of Drosophyllum and have had it for two years now.
This summer I had it out on my deck and one day it blew off the railing and
landed upside down on the ground. I too though that was it but I put it back
into the pot and several months later, it's still going (knock on wood). So
they seem to be much less sensitive than stated. When young they seem to be
very sensitive and germination seems to vary tremendously (which I use to
explain why it took so long to get one that grew to adult size). Good luck
with yours.

I also had a question re. Drosera indica. I just got some plants to grow
from seed and I'm noticing a yellow powdery sustance growing at the base of
each leaf. It looks like pollen - is it? I've never seen anything else like
it on any other plant and it is not a fungus/disease etc. Thanks for any
feedback.
