Hi,

I think Peat, and peat moss are the same thing. Sounds like you are
confusing peat moss for spaghnum moss. Peat is the dead and decayed
spaghnum moss.

Anyway, use peat on the bottom of your aquarium, depending on the depth
of thw aquarium, about one inch should do.
