CP's and Lights

I've grown for years under high pressure sodium lights (430 watt SunAgro
bulbs). Color has been fine and the plants do well. The primary benefit of
these lights is that they can be mounted at the ceiling with the plants on
benches allowing plenty of room to work and observe.

As an aside, (and in spite of what I said above), the plants have recently
been relocated to a greenhouse on a temporary basis because of a move and
the color intensified almost immediately. Despite their healthiness under
lights they look even better with exposure to natural light--and this is
December in Wisconsin! (not much natural light for those who haven't lived
here through a winter!)
